Fashion Jewelry Designer – Naming Your Business

By  Tricia Deed

Naming your business will take a lot of thought. Through my experiences the best business name should be simple and reflect your type of business. Likewise, designing the company logo will also take much consideration and thinking.

Of the two I think designing the company logo is the most challenging. It needs to be simple in design yet speak volumes. The simplicity of the design will be mentally exhausting.

For example, we will pretend that your name is Rose. That is a very easy name but if you are not careful people may think that you are in the flower business rather than the jewelry business. If you use roses as your company logo, again, they will think you are florists.

You are in the fashion jewelry business. Rose is your name and that is the fact. To separate you from the flower business and to also use your real name, you might consider ‘Fashion Jewelry Designs by Rose’.

Fashion jewelry designs says what you do and your name is Rose. This is simple and to the point. Then on your business card, brochures, stationary, and other business correspondence print your business address, phone number, fax number, web address, and email.

To start your own business you will need brochures, business cards, and business correspondence papers with matching envelopes. These are necessities describing who you are, what you do, and how to contact you for your jewelry services. Be professional. Allow time, word of mouth advertising and other forms of advertising to give your small business start a boot into action.

I do not know the statistics, but staying with your real name seems to present less legal problems.

An incident comes to mind where a local restaurant had a contest asking people to name their business. The winning name represented the type of food specialty and the type of restaurant. Everybody enjoyed the contest and the winner got a free dinner for two.

This contest took place in a small town. Vacationers to the area were visiting some relatives where they were treated to a fine dinner at this small restaurant. However, these visitors represented a well known worldly company. They forced this small restaurant to remove their name because of its worldwide familiarity or be taken to court to be sued for using their name.

You will want your business name to be attractive, positive, and unforgettable. It is to your benefit and profit that you invest time and effort in selecting your business name. It is your company identity.

The company logo is our next concern, please read about it in my next article. In the meantime visit Tricia Deed at http://www.Infotrish.vpweb.com/ for successful tips with becoming a jewelry designer and earning an income doing something you love.

Through the years I have learned to be a jack-of-all-trades and maybe mastered one. Because my interests are many, diversity has been the road most traveled. Currently, my hobby is learning and combining these interests with my business of internet marketing.

Designer Anklets – From Tradition to Fashion Jewelry

By  Mike Igor

An anklet is a beautiful accessory that has touches of both rebellion and tradition in it. Anklet is worn around one or both ankles. This cute piece of jewelry originated in south East Asia where it is still worn by married women as a sign of their prosperity and happiness. In India and Pakistan, anklets are known as Pajeb and are usually made of silver or gold. Traditional ankle bracelets have trinkets attached to it which create beautiful sound while walking.

These days, anklet and especially, charm sterling silver anklet is getting very popular as an accessory for all occasions. Contemporary charm anklet designs are made with a number of materials like glass beads, pearls, gemstones etc.

An anklet is one of those accessories which suit almost every outfit. From jeans to skirt, from short dresses to full length gowns, ankle bracelets look good with everything. Even though anklet is mostly associated with young girls, designer charm anklet can be worn by women of all ages, thanks to their wide range of designs. Ankle bracelets with freshwater pearls or Swarovski crystals look very elegant and appropriate for both older and young women.

A charm sterling silver anklet also makes for a very good gift item. As most of them come in adjustable silver sterling chains, you don’t even have to know the ankle or foot size to gift it to someone. Unlike other types of jewelry, it is also much easier to choose for someone. There simple designs and cute style will impress anyone. So, you can be sure that the person you are gifting the charm anklet to, will love it.

Ankle bracelets come in many versatile designs and you can choose a design that suits your personality and dressing style. For example, for a simple and elegant look triple starfish sterling silver anklet or sterling silver ball snake chain anklet will look great. But if you are in the mood for some fun, you can wear a cute CZ duck charm sterling silver anklet or a sterling silver multicolor shoe charm anklet.

An Angel’s Special Christmas Gift

By  Steve Brunkhorst

Towering ponderosa pine trees reached up to touch a blue December sky. Their top branches waved to billowy white clouds sailing over the snow-covered Colorado forest. Sniffing the sweet-scented Ponderosa bark filled my head with the aroma of Christmas candles and butterscotch cookies.

I lowered my tripod to the ground and pointed my camera lens toward the top branches of these living giants. Their pinnacles formed a lofty monument to centuries of natural perfection. If these trees could talk, they would tell tales of the forest dating back hundreds of years.

The sky was alive with moving cloud forms. I thought, “Maybe there will be some angel clouds to photograph today.” I walked into a small clearing to get a full view of the moving clouds. Suddenly I froze in my tracks, amazed at what I saw.

Upon a large boulder was a perfect angel made of snow. She posed graciously with wings spread while I photographed her from several perspectives. Her framed image would make a unique Christmas gift for a friend who collects angels.

I had again witnessed the magnificent perfection of nature; its artistic forest patterns are filled with divine symbols. All of creation bares God’s signature in ways we can read it.

Like a moment of compelling photographic light, every moment can bring gifts of joy and empowerment. Yet we must attend to them and choose to see them with new eyes. Awareness allows us to see through the eyes of the spirit and understand with the heart.

How can we increase our level of awareness to fill our moment-to-moment experiences with more wonder and joy?

1. Stop, and attend purposefully to sights, sounds, smells, and feelings in the present moment. Accept this unique moment as your own and notice the perspective from which you view it.

2. Continue to focus on the feelings within your present experience. Rather than compare your experience with a previous one, bask in the moment. Focus on its uniqueness.

3. Return a silent feeling of gratitude for each experience, knowing that all events are divine gifts given to help you learn and grow in faith.

4. Record your experience by writing it in a journal, recording it on tape, or taking photographs. Your recorded perspectives will keep the sensations of your experience fresh in your memory.

5. Share your experience. Thoughts that continue to receive our attention will increase in our daily experience. Sharing our experiences divides the joy with others. It is also a great way to keep a newfound level of awareness growing and thriving.

The snow angel indeed provided a unique Christmas gift for my friend, and also for me. It’s a special gift that has kept giving year after year.

Every time I view the angel’s image, it reminds me to attend to the present moment and view the gift of life through a spiritual lens. Life’s perfection is always there, in sunshine and storm, in bright and overcast light.

I will always recall that crisp December day when I met an unexpected friend in the forest – an angel made of snow. Her reminder to see with the spirit’s eyes has been a life-empowering Christmas gift – the kind of gift one might expect to receive from an angel.
